Schrödinger Training Session at the KNIME UGM 2011, March 2, Zurich, Switzerland

The Associate Product Manager for the Schrodinger KNIME extensions, Jean-Christophe Mozziconacci, will be hosting a presentation and discussion of a database preparation workflow on Wednesday, March 2 at 17.30-18.30 in the Newton Training Room (1009) in the Zurich Technopark.

This presentation will provide an overview of how Schrödinger KNIME Extensions and Python scripts can be combined using KNIME workbench nodes to build a real-life workflow. This real-life workflow involves the preparation and filtering of a vendor catalogue for subsequent screening and comparison, for the purpose of enriching a corporate database. If time allows, a second workflow for running a conformational search and quantum mechanics refinement will be discussed.

Visit the KNIME UGM page for more information on the meeting. Download directions to the Zurich Technopark and the Zurich Technopark floorplan. The database preparation workflow shown above will be discussed during this training session.

A detailed view of the metanode 'Calculate and Filter by Molecular Properties' is shown here. This metanode is a component of the database preparation workflow that will be covered in this training session.
