Schrödinger will be exhibiting at and is the corporate sponsor of Structure-Based Design , being held in Boston, MA from June 6-8. Dr. Richard Friesner , Professor of Chemistry at Columbia University and Schrödinger's Scientific Advisory Board Chairman, will give a presentation titled "Using Glide XP to Rank Order the Binding Affinities of Protein-Ligand Complexes." Dr. Friesner is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the conference and will host one of the roundtables during the meeting, as well as serve as a panelist for the closing panel discussion.
Dr. Mark Murcko , Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Schrödinger Scientific Advisory Board member, will give the keynote address, titled "Hype Versus Reality: How Valuable is Structural Information in Guiding Drug Design?" Dr. Murcko will also be the moderator for the closing panel discussion. Dr. Woody Sherman, Schrödinger's Director of Applications Science, will host a luncheon workshop on "Advances in Lead Optimization."
