How can I import a FASTA file containing a multiple sequence alignment into the Prime GUI?
Most programs will save a multi-sequence alignment in the form:
> Query sequence
.....
> Template sequence1
.....
> Template sequence2
.....
.....
>Template sequence n
Unfortunately, at the moment, Prime cannot read files in this format. Instead you need to manually insert the query sequence between each of the template sequences:
> Query sequence
.....
> Template sequence1
.....
> Query sequence
.....
> Template sequence2
.....
> Query sequence
.....
>Template sequence n
.....
