How can I evaluate the volume of a cavity from SiteMap data?
It is difficult to unambiguously define a cavity, so any estimate of the cavity volume is bound to be very approximate. However, since the SiteMap site points are placed on a 1-Å grid, a rough estimate of the volume in Å3 is given by the number of site points.
