When I start Maestro, I am getting error messages like:

WARNING : MMDBI ERROR(-4): mmproj_dbi_db_open(): Failed to set the pragma
WARNING : MMPROJ ERROR(-4): mmproj_project_new(): failed to open the entryproperties database.
failed to create scratch project in '/scratch/user'
WARNING MM_DGOList::draw(void): Could not draw DGOList SurfaceMC, DGO SurfaceDGO
WARNING MM_DGOList::draw(void): Could not draw DGOList SurfaceMC, DGO SurfaceDGO

What is the problem?

This can happen if you are using a Lustre file system for your home directory. Lustre has some issue with the SQlite database on which Maestro and Canvas projects are based. You should try to remount your Lustre file system with the option -o localflock.
