Installation on Windows fails with a message that includes "Base software MMShare is not applicable for install". What do I do?
This usually indicates a problem with the unzipping of the downloaded software. After you have downloaded the software, ensure that you extract all the files from the zip file first, before executing setup.exe. You can use right-click → Extract All, or use WinZip to extract all the files.
If that does not rectify the problem, you can try downloading the software again, in case there is a corrupted installer. If the file size is different from the first download, the chance is that the first download was not successful, so you should try the installation again with the new download.
