How do I set Maestro's default working directory on Windows?

The default directory can be set in in the Preferences panel. Choose Maestro → Preferences, and go to General → Directories. Click Other and enter the path to the directory you would like to use as default in the box below. This directory is stored in your Maestro preferences file and is used when Maestro starts on any machine that has access to your shared application data (%APPDATA%).

An alternative is to set the environment variable SCHRODINGER_DEFAULT_DIR. This will set the default directory on your local machine. For information on setting environment variables, see Appendix A of the Installation Guide.
