On Windows, when I try to launch a job from Maestro, I get this error:

The system cannot find the path specified
61 ERROR could not launch or verify jserver
FATAL: Could not procure jserver

What do I do?

In this particular case, Job Control cannot find the path to cmd.exe on your PC. You will need to set the location of this utility in your PATH environment variable. Here are the steps:

1. Locate the path to cmd.exe. To do this, open a DOS shell, and enter the command:
   
   echo %COMSPEC%
   
   You should receive something like:
   
   C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe
   
   Make note of everything up to, but not including, cmd.exe, e.g.
   
   C:\Windows\system32
2. Set your PATH environment variable to include this path. If you need help setting or editing environment variables on Windows, please see Appendix A of the Installation Guide.
