Is it possible to set up the Blast query to use a locally installed Blast database instead of using a web query?

Yes, it is possible to use a local Blast database, rather than to send the search to the web server. In Maestro, please go to Maestro → Preferences → Jobs → Starting and make sure that you deselect the "Allow use of web server for BLAST searches" option.

Your locally installed Blast database should now be picked up when you do a Blast search from Prime.

Please note that if the local Blast database is installed in a different location than the default location:

 $SCHRODINGER/thirdparty/database/blast

the PSP_BLASTDB environment variable will have to be set to point to the location of the database.
