When I tried to run a Desmond job with Suite 2010 using a CMS file from Suite 2011, the job failed. Why is this, and can I fix it?

Due to underlying changes, CMS files from Suite 2011 on are not fully compatible with files from Suite 2010 and earlier. The error message you receive is:

Missing ffio_name1 or ffio_name2 in ffio_vdwtypes_combined

This is because there is an empty block in the CMS file in each component CT that looks like:

ffio_vdwtypes_combined[0] {
:::
:::
}

This block is not understood by Suite 2010 software. To fix the problem, remove these blocks from the CMS file.
