When running a Glide Ligand Docking job with Schrodinger Suite 2012 (Maestro 9.3), the ligand titles in the output pose file are overwritten with the receptor title. Is there a way to fix this problem?

There is a known issue in the release version of Suite 2012 in which ligand titles are overwritten with the receptor title if a Ligand Docking job is run after a Grid Generation job within the same Maestro session, and if the ligand source is the Project Table or Workspace. This problem is fixed in a patch to Maestro (93024), which you can download with Maestro → Check for Updates.

If you need to continue using the release version of Maestro (93023), you can choose from three workarounds for this problem:

  • Dock ligands from a file rather than from the Project Table (selected entries) or Workspace (included entries).
  • Restart the Maestro session.
  • Write or Start a Grid Generation job, deleting the 'Entry Title" value in the Write or Start dialog box. This clears the ENTRYTITLE setting from Maestro (or prevents it from being set in the first place), so that the ligand entry titles aren't inadvertently changed in subsequent docking jobs.
