I upgraded my Mac to OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and now none of my Schrödinger apps work. What do I do?

The upgrade to 10.8 may have changed how various system attributes are reported to the licensing infrastructure, and as a consequence the license no longer works. To fix this problem, you will need a new license with updated machine information.

  1. Start the Diagnostics application (in the SchrodingerSuite2012 folder under Applications).
  2. Click the Tech Support button in the License tab.
  3. Attach the file that is generated to an email message to licensing@schrodinger.com, as shown in the information box that opens.
  4. Add the name of your organization and the name of the purchaser of Schrodinger software to the email message, and send it.
When you get the new license, you should replace the old license with the new one.
