Is it possible to write out a Glide grid .zip file for a grid generated by a KNIME workflow?

Yes. There is a "Glide grid writer" metanode that you can use to perform this task. It is available in the sample workflow "Protein Preparation and Glide Grid Generation 1-3 (5.0)". The example KNIME workflows from Schrodinger can be found on the KNIME Workflows download page at

After downloading the workflow, import it into KNIME and open it. There you can locate a "Glide grid writer" metanode, and copy and paste it into your own workflow. The file location for the grid .zip file is controlled in the metanode by the "File Upload - location" Quick Form node.
