When I run the Fingerprint Generation node in KNIME I got this error message in the KNIME Console:

ERROR Fingerprint Generation Execute failed: SCHRODINGER variable not set

I am using the latest KNIME on Windows from knime.org and have installed the Schrödinger KNIME Extensions from KNIME using Help → Software Updates. What should I do?

If you installed into an existing KNIME installation, you should set the environment variable SCHRODINGER to your Schrödinger software installation. Instructions for setting an environment variable on Windows are given in Appendix A of the Installation Guide.

Make sure that you save your KNIME workflow, and restart KNIME so that that the value of SCHRODINGER is recognized within the Schrödinger KNIME Extensions.
