Is there a way to selectively hide columns that are not relevant in the Project Table?

You can right-click and hide any column or only show that column. Many columns can easily be hidden at once based on program-specific subsets. Choose Show Only Family from the Property menu and make your selection. You can also use Property → Show and select the columns you want to see.
