I would like to map a water network in Maestro for a picture but I do not want to display the distance values, nor the hydrogens involved in the network, just the dotted black lines. Is there a way to do this with Maestro?
There is no direct way of doing this in Maestro. However you can achieve the effect you want by using the Contacts measurements. Go to Tools → Measurements → Contacts, and display Ugly contacts. Specify the water molecules in your network as Atom set 1, and do not specify Atom set 2. Adjust the cutoff ratio to ensure that dotted lines are drawn between all your water molecules. You can change the color of the dotted lines by clicking Edit Color.
