When I try to start Maestro on Linux Fedora 12, I get the following error in the terminal:
Minimum of 16-bit depth or greater, double buffered, non-stereo visual needed. This was not available.

What can I do?
Try launching Maestro in software OpenGL mode with the -SGL option at the command line:
$SCHRODINGER/maestro -SGL
Note that all versions of Maestro that are older than version 9.0 are still 32-bit applications and require certain compatibility libraries to work properly. Since Fedora 12 does not contain a separate 32-bit Nvidia library package in the rpmfusion repository any longer, you'll have to install the xorg-x11-driver-nvidia-lib packge.i686 and mesa-libGLw.i686. on x86_64 machines.
