After installing a new release, I found that Maestro didn't seem to work: it failed with FATAL error messages. What's causing the problem?

It is likely that you have installed the new release into the same directory as a previous release. We recommend that you install each new suite into a separate directory. Mixing releases in the same directory can cause failures due to incompatibilities. To fix the problem, install the new release into a new directory.

If you want to maintain installations of more than one release, you should do so in different directories. If you have a mixed installation, you will have to re-install both releases. As of Suite 2011, you cannot install into the same location as a previous suite.
