It seems that Maestro does not update the directory when I open a new file. Often new files do not appear in the file dialog box. Is there a way to force Maestro to refresh a directory listing?
The failure to refresh the file dialog box is a Qt bug, but a workaround was implemented in Suite 2009 Update 2 (Maestro 9.0.211). For earlier versions, try using the "touch" command on a file in the directory that you want to refresh.
The workaround involved refreshing the file list periodically. If this is causing slow performance, use the following Maestro command to change the refresh interval:
prefer filerefreshinterval=value-in-seconds
Keywords: refresh directory, Maestro
