I find that the mouse does not seem to work with Maestro although it works just fine outside. Is there any setting I need to change?

On some systems, the pointer (cursor) is not displayed when it is moved into the Workspace. This problem often occurs on Linux computers that have low-end graphics cards, such as the Intel integrated graphics adapter (e.g. GMA 945 series). Maestro uses graphics capabilities extensively, so it is recommended to install a high-performance graphics card.

A workaround is available by setting the SCHRODINGER_CURSOR_FIX environment variable. Setting it to a value of 1 uses the standard system mouse pointer (arrow). Setting it to a value of 2 uses a custom pointer that is opaque.
