Can we use rsh in our internal network connection, rather than ssh without password?

No. As of the 2013-3 release, use of rsh is no longer supported.

If you are still using an earlier release, we strongly encourage you to use passwordless ssh because it is more secure and because you will not be able to use it if you upgrade to the 2013-3 release or later.

If you must continue using rsh in an earlier release, you have to set the SCHRODINGER_RSH environment variable to 'rsh' and make sure that it works in passwordless mode. For more information about setting up rsh, see the Installation Guide for your release; specifically the section "Setting Up Access to Remote Hosts" and the appendix "Setting Up Passwordless rsh Access".
