How do I to connect to a client machine from a server? I'd like to run Maestro on the client machine but remotely from the server.

You need to connect to the remote machine via ssh with X forwarding. Assuming that the server is where Maestro is installed, you need to do the following:

ssh -X server
$SCHRODINGER/maestro

Another option is to install and run NX (NoMachine), which can give better Maestro performance.
