I just started using macros in Maestro. They initially worked but now Maestro crashes every time I use a macro from the Scripts menu. What is the problem?

In Suite 2009, some commands crash Maestro when run from macros. This issue has been resolved for the Suite 2010 release.

One solution that might work is to create Function key macros instead (via Edit → Function Key Macros). When these "crash-prone" commands are run as function key macros, they work as expected.
