While using the various tools panels in Maestro (e.g. Measurements) the view of the molecule changes because the panel takes up part of the Workspace. Is there a way to turn this feature off?
Panel docking can be turned off with the following Maestro command:
prefer dockingpanels=false
The option is available as a preference, under General → Panels from Suite 2011, and in the Appearance tab in Suite 2010. You can choose to disable docking of panels altogether by deselecting "Allow docking of panels", or you can have them all be docked in a separate, floating window.
