How do I cite the individual modules of your software like MacroModel, Liaison, Glide, Jaguar, etc?

In the introductory chapter of the User Manual for each of our programs, you will find information on how to cite that particular program. The citation format is given according to ACS standards. The general form is "Program Name, version X.X, Schrödinger, Inc., New York, NY, year." For example: Glide, version 5.6, Schrödinger, Inc., New York, NY, 2010.

If you have different versions of the software installed, you can look at your calculation's log files to see the exact version of the software that you were using for the calculations, and use that version when citing the program.

You may also wish to visit our Citation Page for more information on citing our products.
