Can Maestro visualize electron density maps? What file formats are supported?

Maestro can display electron density maps in *.cns *.map or *.ccp4 formats. Load an electron density map by selecting Display > Surface > Import. Then, associate the map with a structure when prompted, and define its type (Fo-Fc, 2Fo-Fc, etc.).

Using data files, you can calculate electron density maps using PrimeX (or other software), and write them out in any of the above supported formats for subsequent display in Maestro.
