Do you have any documentation for the new Ligand Interaction Diagram script from the Script Center? What do the different colors mean?

This script was made part of Maestro in Suite 2011, and is documented in the online help and in the Maestro User Manual.

There is no documentation for this script prior to Suite 2011, as is often the case for new scripts released on the Script Center. Some basic information is given below.

The colors indicate the residue type.

red = acidic (Asp, Glu)
green = hydrophobic (Ala, Val, Ile, Leu, Tyr, Phe, Trp, Met, Cys, Pro)
purple = basic (Hip, Lys, Arg)
blue = polar (Ser, Thr, Gln, Asn, His, Hie, Hid) gray = other (Gly)

The font size indicates whether the residue is above or below the plane.

The yellow spheres refer to solvent exposure; the size indicates the degree of solvent exposure.

Solid pink lines are H-bonds to the protein backbone, dashed pink lines are H-bonds to protein side chains, and green lines are pi-pi interactions.
