When importing a .map file, I get the following error each time.
FATAL: mmvisio_read_cns(): Found invalid title (1 of 84).
WARNING: MMPROJ ERROR(-4):
mmproj_index_entry_import_cns()
Failed to read CNS file '/filename.map'
Why is this happening?
Some .cns files or .map files are actually formatted according to the CCP4 standard rather than the CNS standard. If you encounter this error, rename the file to give it a .ccp4 extension, and you should be able to import the map.
