How do I get Canvas to open PyMOL in Suite 2010?

The feature for opening PyMOL from Canvas to display 3D structures is available as of Suite 2010 Update 1. To ensure that Canvas can find PyMOL, the best method is to include the path to PyMOL in your PATH environment variable. Instructions for setting environment variables on Windows can be found Appendix A of the Installation Guide.

An alternative is to copy the PyMOL executable (PymolWin.exe on Windows) to the same location as the Canvas executable. A second alternative is to change to the directory that contains the PyMOL executable before starting Canvas. This can be done on Windows in a SchrodingerShell.
