I tried to start Maestro on a remote machine, displaying to my workstation, but it does not seem to be displaying correctly. What can I do to fix this?
If ssh with X forwarding (ssh -X) is being used, this is probably an OpenGL issue or a graphics driver issue.
Try running Maestro on the remote machine with the -SGL option. If this fixes the problem, then the issue was OpenGL support. The -SGL option allows you to run Maestro, but it can be slow. We recommend installing and running Maestro locally, and using the remote job submission capabilities to submit jobs to your remote machine. See chapter 6 of the Installation Guide for information on setting up remote job submission.
If the problem is not fixed with -SGL, the it's likely that you have a graphics driver problem, which should be fixed by installing the most recent driver from the vendor of your graphics card.
