The fonts in Maestro and Canvas aren't displayed properly. What could cause this problem?
This problem could occur if the fonts used in these applications are not installed. You should consider updating your font library to see if this fixes the problem.
Maestro fonts are defined in a style file, which is kept in the maestro-vversion/data/res/ directory in the installation, in maestro.sty. You can check in this style file to see which fonts are used, and install them if they are missing. If you cannot install these fonts, you can copy this file to your user resource area, and change the fonts. For instructions, see Section 12.4 of the Maestro User Manual.
From Suite 2011 on, you can change the Maestro application fonts in the Preferences panel. This panel uses standard font selection tools, so you can choose from the fonts available on your system.
