The job I submitted to an SGE queue failed with the status "fizzled". What can I do?
Jobs sent to SGE queues can fail with the Job Control status "fizzled" if the -cwd option is passed to qsub. The error occurs because the directory that the job was launched from does not exist on the execution node. The error message is not reported in any job log file, but is logged in $SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/spool/qmaster/messages and looks like
failed changing into working directory because: 10/19/2009 13:00:46 [43802:6936]: error: can't chdir to path
To fix this problem, this option should be removed from all of the following places:
$SCHRODINGER/schrodinger.hosts~/.schrodinger/schrodinger.hosts$SCHRODINGER/queues/SGE/template.sh$SCHRODINGER/queues/SGE/config$SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/common/sge_aliases$HOME/.sge_aliases
