I just installed Schr→dinger software on my Windows machine, but it wasn't listed in the Add/Remove Programs dialog box. What happened?
This is a Microsoft bug. If a program has a registry key name that is longer than 60 characters, any programs whose names are later in an alphabetical list than this program are not listed in the Add/Remove Programs dialog box. Schrödinger software does not cause this problem: it is caused by some other program. See the following links for an explanation.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/247515 (Program Is Not Listed in Add/Remove Programs After Installation)
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/240348 (All Installed Programs May Not Be Displayed in the Add/Remove Programs Tool)
Note that you should not remove Schrödinger software with Add/Remove Programs, but you should use the installer (or uninstaller) instead.
