NEW YORK, NY (September 15, 2008) - Schrödinger announced today the release of Update 1 to its 2008 suite of software, which was released in May. "This release represents a significant step forward," says Dr. Ramy Farid , Schrödinger's President, "there are close to one hundred improvements and newly-implemented features collected in this update release."

Schrödinger Suite 2008, originally released in mid-May, was an ambitious major release in terms of new products being introduced as well as the large number of enhancements to existing products. The Update 1 release builds on top of that and improves overall stability and usability, in addition to responding to users' requests for enhanced features and functionalities.
