Windows users will be pleased to learn that the scientific advances in Schrödinger Suite 2010 will be accompanied by expanded platform support. Among the most significant changes is newly added support for both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7. Additionally, a subset of the most popular Schrödinger Suite applications will be supported for distributed execution on 64-bit Windows HPC Server 2008. We will continue to support 32- and 64-bit Vista and 32-bit Windows XP.
On Linux, the entire Schrödinger Suite will be supported on both 32- and 64-bit distributions, with 64-bit versions of both Maestro and Canvas debuting in Suite 2010.
Schrödinger Suite 2010 is scheduled for release later this spring – keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation to our spring seminar series, where Suite 2010 will be covered in detail.
