Viewer Control for PowerPoint

A powerful, all-purpose molecular modeling environment

Overview

The Maestro Viewer Control is an ActiveX control for PowerPoint on Windows. It enables the user to transfer Maestro Workspace content to a PowerPoint presentation, and allows the presenter to manipulate the transferred content in 3D within PowerPoint (in a view-only manner).

You may also share PowerPoint presentations with colleagues — they only need to first install the Maestro Viewer Control on their system, and restart PowerPoint before viewing the presentation.

The Maestro Viewer Control is compatible with PowerPoint 2002 (XP), 2003 and 2007. Further information is provided in the README.TXT in the download.

Requirements

  • Installation requires administrator-level privileges
  • PowerPoint 2002 (XP), 2003 or 2007
  • Windows (XP, Vista, 7)
  • To create content, Maestro Suite 2010 or later on Windows is needed
  • To view content in PowerPoint neither Maestro nor any other Schrödinger software is needed. You only need to install the Maestro Viewer Control and restart PowerPoint. No license is needed.
