How much memory is required to perform a Jaguar calculation?

Jaguar calculations operate by running a series of different executables that require differing amounts of resources. If you are running calculations on multiple cores, the calculations will use the same amount of memory per core. The peak amount of memory used per core for a particular executable is listed in the output file. e.g.

Peak memory usage: 700MB

This information can be used to estimate the memory requirements. Our general recommendation is that the host on which you run Jaguar calculations has 2GB of memory per core.
