I am getting an error on my Linux machine that includes: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") How can I fix this?
This can happen if the LSB package is not installed. See Article 1437 for instructions on installing this package.
It can also happen if you are running with a 32-bit Linux kernel. To check your kernel, use the command uname -m. If it does not return the value x86_64 then you do not have a 64-bit kernel. As 32-bit Linux is not supported, you will have to upgrade to a 64-bit operating system.
