Launching your Industry Career with a Computational Degree Panel

Join us for a one-hour live virtual panel titled “Launching Your Industry Career With a Computational Degree.”

Learn about various career paths from industry scientists who have a graduate degree in computations. Panelists will discuss how graduate school prepared them for their current positions and what skills were needed to advance in their careers. Each panelist has a unique path on how their molecular modeling skills were leveraged in either a large pharma, government, or start-up setting.

As a follow-up to this event, you will have the opportunity to connect with industry scientists who utilize computational tools. You will also be invited to future panels and workshops focusing on the use of molecular modeling for educational purposes.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the different career pathways of scientists in large pharma, government, and start-up environments
  • Discover what makes a resume/CV stand out when applying for industry positions
  • Connect with industry scientists who perform computational modeling and learn how their skills landed them a job after graduate school
