Abstract

Materials-focused research and development must address not only challenges for improved functionality but also emergent issues for existing products. These engineering-level problems frequently have a molecular root cause. Experimental and simulation techniques probing the molecular level provide critical information for solving many of these problems, but relating them to the engineering level can be challenging. This webcast will review case studies where this connection has been made and leveraged with molecular simulation in consumer packaging and adhesive materials.
