Teaching With Schrödinger

Connect your students to industry-leading molecular modeling software

“As a former professor, I know how integrating meaningful technology into the classroom can be a daunting task. Students struggle learning 3-dimensional concepts with 2-dimensional strategies. Using Teaching with Schrödinger, you can now easily modernize your course curricula with web-based molecular modeling tools to push student understanding to the next level.”

Seamless Web-Based Software Access for Teaching

The Teaching with Schrödinger virtual cluster empowers students to build, calculate, and analyze molecular structures with state-of-the-art software using a web-based virtual desktop environment without the need to download anything to their hardware.

Students will get the training to be able to connect theory to application at their fingertips and can submit calculations any time, anywhere. Instructors, from experts to non-experts in computational chemistry, will have the educational support and resources directly from Schrödinger staff to be completely comfortable with integrating new technology into their teaching.

Industry-Leading Molecular Modeling in the Classroom

The Teaching with Schrödinger virtual cluster is a web-based molecular modeling package that includes Maestro - the industry leading graphical user interface, a job monitor, and a computational engine that is specifically designed for educational purposes. Instructors are welcome to use ready-made lesson plans that integrate with their course curriculum for labs and lectures. The cluster can also be used flexibly however educators see best fit for their particular course.
